This little three lettered word in Hebrew means I am. It consists out of the Aleph, the Nun and the Yod. I made a bracelet with these three letters combining them with beautiful Indian Agate Semi-Precious stones. Not one bead made from this stone looks the same. They vary in colour and patterns although they all belong to the same family. Some are pinkish and some are greenish. Some are dark and some even have unexpected marks in them. They don’t look the same yet they belong together. I think you can see where I’m going with this. Yes it represents us, that is humanity as a whole.
Back to ANI. Aleph is the first letter of the alphabet. The beginning and the end. The servant. The Vav that connects the Yod above and the Yod below. A separate individual yet working together in unity. I could go as far as to say it can represent our bodies as part of the I AM. I am body. My body is also the temple where the Ruach of YHVH resides.
Nun is the force of life. It moves and creates. Living seed. It can represent your soul. Your thought life which has the creative force of life.
Yod is the hand of the Divine Creator. Bright light that creates. Yahweh within you one with your spirit man.
I AM. Body, Soul and Spirit. Aleph, Nun and Yod.
Who am I? That Iconic question asked by everyone alive.
A servant, a gateway to bring heaven to earth through the life giving force within us flowing from our oneness with our Creator.
This is just some of the thoughts I’ve meditated on as I wore ANI on my arm this week. I honoured those three living letters and invited them to reveal more to me, to befriend me.
Behold what manner of love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God. And that is what we are!
1 John 3:1
This love of the Father….it contains the mystery of who we are. The truth that we were given access to be part of His family. Grafted in so that our very essence changes to become like Him. Like the comparison Yeshua used with the vine and the branches. He is the source of the life that flows through us to produce good fruit. You don’t work to produce fruit. If a branch is connected to the vine it will produce fruit. It will manifest what it is one with.
The key is connection and positioning.
So this coming week as I wear ANI on my arm and gaze upon the form of ANI I’m going to engage with who I am. Because who I am reveals an unique aspect of the Divine Creator, my Father. And I have a specific position in the body and in Heaven to fulfil. Imagine if everyone simply lived who they were meant to be out in unity with each other. What a glorious vision.
