Connection

What does it mean to connect? How important is it to be connected? If you take each bead of a bracelet – on their own they have no function but connected together they make a beautiful, functional piece of jewellery.

TOGETHER

ONE

On earth the best example of connection we find is that of a man and a woman. Originally one being the two become one again in the sacred act of intimacy out of which new lives are formed.

Man originally came out of Yahweh like Eve came out of Adam. His counterpart, made in His likeness. Together we form a being that Yahweh longs to be One with. Each one of us has an unique shape, form, place that needs to connect to that same place in His heart.

How does connection happen? Opening up, surrendering, inviting…trusting.

“That they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in you: that they also may be One in Us that the world may believe that You sent me.

John 17:21

Connected. We are part of each other. We are also incomplete without our counter part. Yahweh. It is only through our connection with Him and each other that we can find true fulfilment. Faith is the vehicle through which you access this connection. Believing that Divine Love as a Being desires to connect with every part of your self and bring the light and the life that is who He is into you to produce fruit that is born out of your union – love, joy, peach, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control.

Faith reveals to you that His body broken and bleeding was Him pressing through the separation that stood between the Divine and Humanity. That the blood signifies a covenant the same covenant that is forged between a man and a woman when they unite to become one for the first time. A bonding of two into one.

We were made to experience the ecstasy of true connection and oneness.

“Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me.

John 3:20

I went for a walk to a beautiful range near us. I’d lived in the area for 8 years and only discovered this vast space the past year. As I stood looking out and enjoying the vista I wondered at the fact that it was walking distance from my house, so close yet I never knew about it. I felt the Spirit nudge me – “It is like My Kingdom, so near you, yet you never knew about it.”

There is so much more for us – it is closer than you think – just around the corner.

I'm an author who loves to write stories that inspire and uplift others. I started writing novels five years ago during a difficult time of my life. Fanning the flame of a lifelong passion for stories into real life novels brought me into a new season of my life. At present writing is not my fulltime job yet. I'm a full time mother and strive to keep my priorities the right way around. I hope you enjoy the stories I have written so far. They are gifts from my house to yours. Enjoy.
