Abundance

I was ordering new beads and silver spacers this week when this Tiger’s eye stones caught my attention. It was more pricey than the other beads I normally get and I thought it wouldn’t be affordable.

Softly in my heart I felt the Spirit nudge me, “Buy the Tiger’s eye.”

“Why? It’s expensive.”

“Because you like it. And because when you buy something you don’t want to do it from a place of lack but from a place of unlimited supply.”

So I bought it. When I opened the package yesterday they were so beautiful. Glistening golden with patterns and reflections that spoke to me of depth and glory.

I’d been listening to teachings about abundance this week and discovered that one of the Hebrew words for abundance is Rab. I had to rewind and make sure I heard that right because it blew me away. In April it was our wedding anniversary and we decided to celebrate it by buying ourselves high quality down jackets. We’ve never before spent so much money on jackets but we bought it in order to break our mentality of lack and to break into the truth that we can enjoy the abundance YHVH is providing for us.

So to make a long story short the make of these jackets are: Rab. We are literally clothing ourselves with abundance. Nothing happens by accident. The word says that we should clothe ourselves with love. And for me abundance flows out of love. It is first of all the revelation of the abundance of YHVH’s love for us that sets us free. Limitless, abounding, overflowing, relentless, consuming love.

So today as I made this bracelet I faced the issue of lack again. First I wanted to combine the Tiger’s eye with a cheaper stone, then I wanted to use less silver and all because I was making myself one and felt like it was a waste to use it all on myself. Again His gentle nudge: “What do you want?”

“I want to just use the Tiger’s eye and lots of silver. I think it’s beautiful.”

“Then make that for yourself. Bless yourself. You are worth it. There is no lack.”

I read up on the two living letters Resh and Bhet. They are amazing. I intend to meditate and engage with them as I wear this bracelet. Resh is the beginning the leader and the head that was made to function out of unity with Christ and Bhet is the house the place where we dwell in union with Him. Abundant living is living out of union.

There has to be an undoing of the old in order to move into the new.

I bless you in your pursuit of abundance – He is the source of all we need. My 13 year old son came to me tonight and said, “You know what mom? I realised money can’t make you happy.”

“Why is that?” I asked curious.

“Because once you have something nice, you get used to it so fast and then you want something else and it never ends. And I think many people think about money a lot and are unhappy because of it.”

“That’s true, son. Money is a false god and it cannot make you happy. Only YHVH gives true joy and peace. You are born with nothing and you die with nothing.”

I love you YHVH. I’m deeply grateful for the revelation of abundance in You. You are so good. Selah.
